Texana Book Reviews
(by Mike Cox)

For the past fifteen years, Austin-based freelance writer Mike Cox has entertained and informed Texas newspaper readers with his widely-read reviews of books about Texas. Currently, his syndicated column runs weekly in the Austin-American Statesman, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, the Matagorda Advocate, and the Amarillo Globe-News. It also runs monthly in the Bryan Eagle. Combined circulation for these newspapers is well over one-third of a million readers.

Through an exclusive arrangement with the author, Lone Star Junction is pleased to present back issues of these syndicated book reviews for on-line access by our viewers. New articles will continue to be added--delayed approximately two to four weeks following their publication in the newspapers.

The book reviews are indexed below in the order of the dates originally published in the Austin-American Statesman--most recent article first. We hope that you enjoy the on-line version of the reviews.
